Baggage Tips
No one wants lost or damaged luggage sets. Here are some tips to help you and your luggage have an effortless trip.
Before Your Trip
Put your name and the phone number of your destination on the inside and outside of your bag.
Don’t wrap your gifts since all luggage is subject to inspection.
Travel light when you can. Try bringing one carry-on bag that will fit underneath the seat in front of you.
Don’t overstuff your bag. That makes it more likely to get damaged.
Make sure your bags don’t have any straps or hooks sticking out that could get caught on something and damage your bag.
Stay within the Baggage Allowance.
Carry valuables, medication, and travel documents in your carry-on luggage.
Pack anything that might leak inside an air-tight plastic bag.
Know the rules for any of your stuff that might be considered Dangerous Goods. That includes what to do with those spare batteries.
Know the requirements for the Security Checkpoints where you’ll be traveling. There are still restrictions on Liquids and Containers.
During Your Trip
Check with our airport agents if you need extra Packaging.
Check as many as your 5 piece luggage set as possible to make clearing Security Checkpoints smooth and fast.
Bird Doo Don’ts

I never go anywhere without a good set of luggage to store my most fashionable apparrel. Well, I don’t now anyway. There’s a story behind my committment to sturdy luggage and it’s a bad story. Here’s the deal - I once went on a trip and stored all my clothes in an open duffel bag. It turns out a flock of birds decided to fly over. I couldn’t believe it, but the birds ended up defecating all over my bag! I was mortified and even more embarrassed when my friends, who had stopped by the airport to pick me up started laughing at me.
My life was almost ruined that day and my pride was in pretty bad shape too. Eventually I got over it and bought two new luggage sets. I wanted to start anew, to pack away all my old bird doo baggage. So I did - and it saved my life.
Sexy Caddies It Weren’t
My husband loves to golf and it almost ruined our marriage. It’s not what you think; an affair with a sexy, young caddy or too many cans of beer on the course. Our problem was much worse I must admit. I’ll be straight with you - I almost ruined his favorite pastime by polishing his gold clubs with jewelry cleaner. Yeah I know, golf clubs aren’t diamond earrings, but what did he expect - they were dirty! When Mitzel discovered that I had cleaned his precious clubs, he accused me of trying to turn him into a girl. He actually said, “should I put on a tutu and some lipstick?”
Our marriage suffered badly. For nearly two hours we didn’t even hum together (one of our favorite pastimes) and later that night he didn’t even feed me my favorite snack: sardines. Truly, I felt lost. That night I had a dream that I would buy him a golf bag travel cover to make up for my indiscretion. The next day I did and Mitzel cried tears of joy. That night he met me on the couch with sardines in hand! He even dipped them in my favorite condiment: ketchup! Love was in the air that night!
